St. Charles


	New Beginnings works with many male and female youth (ages 12-17) at St. Charles Youth & Family Services. There are groups of boys and girls who are there for a relatively short time, yet desperately need encouragement and caring support. To provide for their needs, New Beginnings sends teachers and other volunteers to minister to the youth. In addition to weekly bible studies, NBAP also provides: Arts & Crafts Special Events Worship Services Speaker Programs

Monday Night - Career Night at 9501 W. Watertown Plank Rd. location from 6:00pm - 7:00pm - Come & share your career or educational experiences with the youth.
Tuesday Night - Bible Study at 181 S. 84th St. location from 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Young Men Only)
Thursday Night - Bible Study at 9501 W. Watertown Plank Rd. location from 6:00pm -7:00pm (All Youth)
Sunday Afternoon - Arts, Crafts and Games with Youth

Once a month different churches and community groups host a birthday party for all 5 cottages at the Watertown Plank Rd location- fun for all!

Once a month Shalom Ministries holds a concert in the gym.

Once a quarter we host "A Different Path" at the youth center for 25 youth and staff from St. Charles. This is a time of fellowship, food and fun!

Thanksgiving Day churches and community groups cook a Thanksgiving meal and deliver it to the cottages at both locations.

Christmas Day we deliver new pajamas, socks, Bibles, candy canes, etc.
