Our History

New Beginnings Are Possible began in 1996 as a result of a group of young men going out to St. Charles to do music ministry.

Following God's providence, a need was seen and that was sharing with the youth how to think about tomorrow... the incredible need to share with the youth about careers and future possibilities. After meeting with six pastors New Beginnings Are Possible was created.

Now, these many years later New Beginnings has accomplished much...

An inspirational youth center that is educating and mentoring several hundred youth every year.
Has grown to have 6 full and part time staff members.
Provide transportation from school.
Provide 5 meals per week plus snacks.
Established in-house education programs that include academics, computer skills, sewing, cooking, gardening, swimming and even sailing.
Provide tutoring and one-on-one assistance.
Provide academic summer camps.
Create experiences for the youth that they wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to have.
Partner with a sister ministry called House of Love which provides transitional living for homeless girls.
Partner with MCCA Sports Camps.
Partner with Campus Crusade's "Say Yes" program.

As a result of God's grace, tons of hard work, people's partnerships, volunteers, our Board of Directors and your donations, New Beginnings has grown from being open from 2 days per week to 5 days per week. We need everyone's ongoing support in order to make a difference in our children's lives.
